About Us
EJR Reload Inc. (E.J.R.) was incorporated in March of 1981. EJR commenced operations as a lumber transfer facility, servicing Canada and the United States, and working hand in hand And working hand in hand with Canadian Pacific Rail (CP). CP merged with Kansas City Southern in 2023 to become CPKC.
In 1985, negotiations began between CP Rail and EJR to establish a local steel transfer facility. Thus spawned the creation, in May of 1987, of the current steel transfer facility that exists today. E.J.R. Reload Inc. has been a hands on, family run business, from its inception. EJR Reload Inc. has 40-plus years of material handling experience and is always open to new challenges and opportunities.
EJR offers a vast range of services to CPKC Rail and its affiliated customers, including:
- rail to truck transfer and distribution throughout the province of Manitoba, Western Ontario and Eastern Saskatchewan
- P and D of container shipments from CP terminals.
- fleet of trucks and flatdeck equipment including tandem, triaxle and super b trailers
- crane offloading of steel coil, steel plate, steel beam, and rebar 25 ton maximum lift capacity on the main hook
- inside warehouse storage capacity of 10,000 square feet
- outside dock boxcar offloading of various products, such as lumber, shingles, and other palletized products
- fork lift capacities ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 pounds pit conveyer handling various products from grain to aggregate products, transported by either dump or hopper trailers
- ramp tracks that offer unloading and loading of automobile railcars
- also have the capability of loading flat deck railcars with tractors, loaders and heavy trucks
- offsite services that include overload reductions,miscellaneous load adjustments, car cleaning, and derailments.
